Days 23, 24 & 25

I am officially one quarter of the way through my 100 Day Challenge! I was feeling that 7 mile run on Tuesday morning…but I ran 2.16 miles when I woke up anyways. I planned on attending a workout class at 5:30 that afternoon, but the class was cancelled. I figured, since I was at the gym anyway, I would run 2.5 miles on the treadmill. Not how I usually like to run, but I thought, why not?

Early Wednesday morning, I went to a workout class. It was the first time I had done any strength training since before my vacation. It was tough. I still ran 2.3 miles after class, though.

Today I ran 5.06 miles. It was 85 degrees. The sweat was pouring from my body and forehead before I was even a mile in. I was grateful for the shady parts of my run – even if they were few and far between.

Only 75 days left to go! I am way too far in to give up now. I just signed up for the Color Run, which should be a pretty fun 5K on September 24th. I am officially signing up for the half marathon tonight as well. September is going to be full of training and exercise.
