Day 6 – Camel’s Hump

Today my sister and I hiked Camel’s Hump, Vermont’s third highest peak. It was almost 7 miles up and down. It’s a great hike, but it did rain on us a little bit.

We were both a little disappointed at the top because it was so cloudy that we couldn’t see much of what is a truly spectacular view. Then, shortly after we started the trek down, of course, the sky cleared up and it has since turned into a pretty beautiful day.

We have both been trying to hike Camel’s Hump all summer, so we both enjoyed the hike and each other’s company. I’m sure I will be sore tomorrow, the hike was a big one. However, that won’t stop me from running a couple miles!
